Profuomo was started in 1934 by Heinz Michaelis. Heinz wanted to produce high-quality clothing with great attention to every step of the process. The products made by Profuomo today are inspired by the same philosophy that Heinz used in 1934. They still use the finest materials and work with the best Italian factories. Manufacturing techniques have changed over time, but these are still combined with the methods and traditions that have been used for generations.

This wide, hand-burnished belt is vegetable-tanned. The various color tones make this belt easy to combine with shoes in all shades of brown.
